El tribunal b\u00falgaro suspendi\u00f3 el nuevo plan del Parque Nacional Pirin, que permit\u00eda la construcci\u00f3n en 66% de su territorio.<\/p>

El 29 de abril de 2020, elEl Tribunal Administrativo Supremo de Bulgaria decidi\u00f3 en el caso de falta de evaluaci\u00f3n ambiental del nuevo plan de gesti\u00f3n de Pirin. La saga de la corte, que ha durado tres a\u00f1os, mostr\u00f3 la ilegalidad total de la decisi\u00f3n firmada por el Ministro de Medio Ambiente y Aguas en 2017. Por lo tanto, el plan, que permit\u00eda la construcci\u00f3n en 66% y la tala de bosques en 48% del parque , no entrar\u00e1 en vigor.<\/span><\/p>

La decisi\u00f3n se produce despu\u00e9s de que miles de b\u00falgaros protestaron en las calles para defender el parque nacional m\u00e1s antiguo del pa\u00eds contra la construcci\u00f3n de nuevas infraestructuras (incluidas las estaciones de esqu\u00ed) y la tala en algunos de los bosques m\u00e1s antiguos de Europa. La campa\u00f1a tiene un enorme apoyo internacional con m\u00e1s de 125000 firmas en una petici\u00f3n lanzada por\u00a0WWF Bulgaria<\/a>.<\/p>

La decisi\u00f3n del tribunal y su interpretaci\u00f3n de las leyes ser\u00e1n importantes para los otros parques nacionales, para todas las dem\u00e1s \u00e1reas protegidas, sitios Natura 2000 y para los planes o programas cubiertos por la Directiva de Evaluaci\u00f3n Ambiental Estrat\u00e9gica\".<\/p>

Coalici\u00f3n Para La Naturaleza insiste en que Miroslav Kalugerov, director del Servicio Nacional de Protecci\u00f3n de la Naturaleza, sea despedido inmediatamente por falta de competencia. Fue el principal experto del Ministerio en la defensa del nuevo plan de gesti\u00f3n y ahora est\u00e1 preparando cambios en la Ley de Biodiversidad que da\u00f1ar\u00e1 la red Natura 2000 en Bulgaria.<\/p>
